Together we’ll have the chance to visit and enjoy locations that resemble the surface of the moon, incredible sunsets in the middle of the Atacama salt- flat, wildlife from the Andes wetlands, and the milky way in one of the best places in the world for Stargazing and Astrophotography.
Rainbow Valley
Its place where erosion left exposed different layers of minerals with different colors, hence the name.
The strong erosion also left intriguing formations that we can explore and photograph. This is a place perfect for panoramic shots.

Vallecito
Its located in the middle of salt mountain range and its the perfect place for Astrophotography.
While we wait for the right time we will warm up with sunset photography in a place that resembles the surface of the moon. On our way back we will stop at a lonely mesquite for some more shots.

Cornisas
The strong erosion left intriguing formations that we can photograph from the cornices above the formation. This is a place perfect for panoramic and detail shots.

Chaxa Lagoon
60 km south of San Pedro we arrive to a lagoon in the middle of the Atacama salt flat, it is the Sumer residence for South American flamingoes, we’ll walk around the lagoon and have the chance to photograph different migrating birds as well as sunset shots.

Mirador Licanantay and Catarpe
Only 5 minutes from San Pedro we’ll enjoy the sunrise at a viewpoint where we can photograph the salt mountain range from above, Then we go to the cornices of Mars Valley

Guatin Gatchi
It's an area 30 minutes away from San Pedro, The small canyon has 12 ft tall cactus that are great for sunset and astro photography. Also the small river that flows in the area is great for long exposures.

Tatio Geysers
Here we drive north into the Andes Mountains, reaching 14,000 feet we we’ll be driving trough the South American altiplano until we reach the geysers, on the way back we stop at a high altitude wetland were we ‘ll have the chance to photograph Vicunas (south American camel) and migrating birds.

Laguna Lejia
South of San Pedro, into the Andes Mountains, past the town of Talabre we’ll reach 14,000 feet at the Lejia Lagoon, a beautiful formation surrounded by volcanoes great for landscape photography and mirror effect. It is also an occasional stop for flamingoes and foxes.

Astrophotography in Piedras Rojas
South of San Pedro, into the Andes Mountains, past the town of Socaire we’ll reaching 13,500 feet, at the Piedras Rojas Salt Lake a beautiful formation surrounded by volcanoes great for Landscape and Astro photography. In here we will do photography in 3 different locations in the altiplano.

The price includes private vehicle, park fees, water, snacks and food according to the excursion needs.
The times can be arrange according to the persons preferences
The order of the excursions are arrange in order to favor the acclimatization process.
The Tatio Geyser and Lejia Lagoon require 2 days of acclimation before ascending to 14.000 ft.
The Price is for 2 persons (1 extra person USD 200 per day)
The program can be adjusted according to the photographers needs.
The private tour is for a maximum of 6 photographers
We highly recommend that participants bring a digital SLR or Mirrorless camera, tripod and their own laptop computer with software for organizing your photos.
Suggested Clothing for San Pedro de Atacama
Travel light, but pack sturdy, wear outdoor trekking shoes, comfortable layered clothing such as fleeces, t-shirts, long pants and long-sleeved shirts. Include an outdoor warm top for cold nights and cold altitudes as well as a warm hat and gloves, Lip balm, sun-screen cream and sun glasses.
OUR SERVICES INCLUDE Private 4x4 vehicle, Bilingual guide, Park fees, Water and Snacks according to the excursion. The departure times and excursions according to your preferences. You can choose between a full-day excursion with lunch included (between 4 and 7 hours approx.) or two half-day excursions (between 2 and 5 hours approx.), returning to your hotel for lunch between both excursions.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS - All reservations should be requested in writing and will be confirmed in the same way. - To confirm the reservation, a prepayment of 50% of the rate must be made. - Reservations will not be confirmed until the deposit has been received. - Forms of payment: Credit, Debit or Deposit - The balance must be paid on arrival to San Pedro CANCELLATION FEE - Up to 91 days prior to arrival: No Charge. - 90 - 61 days prior to arrival: USD 100 per person. - 60 - 15 days prior to arrival: USD 150 per person. - 14 - 00 days prior to arrival: 100% of the reservation deposit.
